The development of Pub-Me CMS never ends and it is true about this year too. Most new features involved security and ecommerce features of the system. The development is a continuous process but since it has been a while since we brought the last update, I'd like to recap some of the most important recent changes.:
- online payment methods. The system now natively supports PayU payment gate but it is ready for implementation of basically any payment company offering similar services.
- product technical specifications. It is now possible to provide much more detailed information about technical specifications of produts in a structurred format with fully custimizible categories and technical specs.
- product comparator makes it possible to compare technical specifications as well as other product parameters as requested by the user.
- MoneyS3. The system now communicates with accounting system MoneyS3 and supports imports/exports of data like orders and products. (via an optional plugin)
- pricelist generation. Pricelists can now be generated from within the ecommerce plugin - a table is generated on basis of products in the online store. Since pricelists can be rather large, a javasript tool makes browsing pricelists much more user friendly.
